I used to hate Monday. Now it means even more time to work on my passion, but I will miss the view from Inc.
Part of my current work though is walking a lot everyday… so all of New York is my view, just from street level. Also I have to pick out a tent, sleeping bag, shoes, laptop, convince someone to custom build me a walking cart or modify an off the shelf stroller/bike trailer, and attempt to develop mutually beneficial relationships with potential partners.
I need to go to B&H PhotoVideo and attempt to trade my two nikon flashes in for credit towards a light weight tripod base and video head (which I haven’t picked out yet) and a copy of Adobe LightRoom.
I need to pick a new wireless plan and get a new iPhone with tethering or a mobile hotspot and get a backup burner phone…
I think I have more to do than I did when people paid me to work!
At least I won’t feel like this anymore.

Beautiful view of the city but I was kind of like the fish in the traffic jam/office cubicle till I took a hiatus from nursing and started driving a delivery van in rural areas. Love the freedom of it. Hope you enjoy the freedom of your journey as much as I do my delivery route.
Walking cart? Interesting idea. My legs hurt just thinking about loading a backpack with all that stuff you plan to bring. Last time I went backpacking with Erika my pack weighed in at 39 pounds just for a 1 night trip. Though that was carrying gear more appropriate for car camping… heavy sleeping bag, 2 person tent, etc.
yeah the desire to shoot photos and videos and share them enroute adds a TON of weight, but its worth it.
