Last week I received a set of four Shakespeare’s Pizza pint glasses in the mail from David Smith! Thank you so much David.

These nonic pint glasses are great. The bulge near the top keeps them from sticking together when stacked and gives you a more secure grip. Unfortunately that didn’t help the clamp hold onto the glass as I was shooting. After sitting in a clamp for half an hour, the glass finally tilted out of the clamp and fell to the basement floor, shattering, and creating a huge mess I spent the next hour cleaning up.

Luckily I still have three glasses, and I got a great refresher lesson in how levers work.

I’ll enjoy using these constantly, especially on nights when I make my imitation of Shakespeare’s pizza. Today I’ll just have a pint with some left over zucchini, bacon pie and pull apart sourdough with bacon, shallots and cheese.
